History Teacher – Birmingham
 
Are you a passionate History teacher with a strong classroom presence and the ability to inspire students? We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham seeking a dedicated teacher of History to join their team from September 2025. This is a long-term supply position with competitive pay and the chance to make a real impact on students’ learning.

• Role: History Teacher (QTS or ECT)
• Location: Birmingham
• Pay: £175 – £250 per day (dependant on experience)
• Contract: Long-term supply, starting September 2025
• Curriculum: History across KS3 – KS4

 
The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging History lessons that challenge and inspire students across KS3 and KS4. The school values high expectations and creativity in the classroom, so you’ll have the opportunity to bring your subject knowledge to life while supporting students to achieve strong outcomes.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be an ECT looking to build their experience.
Have recent experience teaching History at secondary level.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of needs.
Be enthusiastic, approachable, and committed to fostering a love of learning in young people.
