Adoption Team
Pay rate £32.64 per hour
Vitalis Social Care are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join an Adoption Team in the East Midlands region.
Job Role and Responsibilities: -
As a Social Worker within the adoption team, you may be asked to attend other meetings or events on occasions, and you will need to be able to respond and attend core hours with 24 hours’ notice. Visits will take up around 30% of your working time and this is on top of around six days a month in the office.
Most of our SWs carefully plan their visits to minimise travel and some meetings can be online, in the final stages of pulling together an assessment where it is just practical issues to refine, but the standard is that face to face is best for the rapport building a and information gathering.
Caseload - This cannot be numerically quantified as cases have different levels of complexity but caseloads are viewed by staff to be manageable and are carefully monitored.
