We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Head of Maths to lead a successful and nationally recognised department in an outstanding Boys 11-16 school. Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Maths department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students aged 11-16.
• Develop and implement engaging and creative teaching strategies to inspire students and staff.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, setting ambitious targets to enhance academic achievements.
• Lead and mentor a team of skilled Maths teachers, promoting continuous professional development and growth.
• Introduce new initiatives and ideas to enhance the department's curriculum and teaching practices.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school improvement plans.
• Maintain and strengthen the department's outstanding track record of results and student outcomes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a successful Maths department.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the 11-16 Maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to inspire and support both students and staff in achieving their best.
• Creative and forward-thinking approach to education.
• Track record of producing excellent results and a dedication to continuous improvement.
