Chef Supervisor

Cook Supervisor- B79 Tamworth

My client is a leading contract catering company looking for a talented and passionate Cook Supervisor to join their team at one of their primary schools, bringing healthy and high-quality meals to the school.

Due to the location of the school, the successful candidate MUST have access to their own mode of transportation.

The duties and responsibilities of the Cook Supervisor will be:

·Liaising with the Catering Manager to plan menus for the meals.

·Cooking high-quality and healthy meals for the 100 students.

·Guiding and supervising the catering assistants during service.

·Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and ensuring standards of food hygiene and health and safety are enforced.

The ideal Cook Supervisor will:

·Have previous experience in a cook role.

·Have experience in a supervisory role.

·Be comfortable working independently.

·Be passionate about food and cooking

·Have Food Hygiene certification

As this role is in a school, the successful candidate will need to have a DBS certificate.

Salary: £14.50ph

Job-Type: Term-time, Permanent

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-2:30pm OR 8am-3pm

Start-date: September 2024
