Food Production Warehouse and Logistics Manager – Birmingham – Monday to Friday - £35-40k per annum

My client is a highly successful food production company who produce 8,000 meals per day which are punctually distributed to their client 365 days of the year. This is a great time to join this successful company

As Food Production Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will oversee a team of food production warehouse staff and delivery drivers, ensuring the delivery of meals are despatched and delivered in a timely manner.

Duties include:-

Ensuring pallets of meals are distributed on time by coordinating despatch and logistics

Maintain vehicles, ensuring they are road worthy at all times

Develop and implement delivery routes to minimise travel time and costs

Track and evaluate drivers performance

Ensure meals are  packaged and stored safely in the refrigerated vehicles

Ensure targets are met, if not exceeded

General warehouse and maintenance duties as and when required

Goods in Goods out

The successful candidates with have strong experience within production environment aswell as logistics and warehouse management. You will be an effective leader and highly organised. Excellent communication, data analysis and reporting experience.
