Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Project Manager to join our dynamic Project Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start their career in project management within a supportive and challenging environment. The Graduate Project Manager will work closely with senior project managers and various departments to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Support the development of project scopes, objectives, and deliverables involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Assist in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and following up on action items.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Familiarity with project management software tools is a plus (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
