Salary: PAYE: £13.69 per hour | Umbrella: £17.41 per hour

Are you a friendly and organised individual with a passion for helping others? NRW People is excited to offer a temporary Customer Services Advisor role in Merthyr Tydfil. Starting 13 October 2025, this 10-week position provides vacancy cover pending review, offering a chance to support employability services in a dynamic Welsh community.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality customer service, responding to enquiries and assisting clients with employability and worklessness support.
• Manage administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and processing applications to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to coordinate support for job seekers and regeneration initiatives.
• Handle confidential information with care, adhering to data protection and council policies.
• Contribute to a positive client experience, helping individuals access opportunities in the Merthyr Tydfil area.

What We’re Looking For:

• A proactive individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, ideally with customer service or administrative experience.
• Ability to work full-time (37 hours) across the specified shift pattern (9:00 - 17:00 Mon-Thurs, 9:00 - 16:30 Fri).
• A customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Essential Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Criminal Convictions Declaration (to be submitted with application).
• Signed Confidentiality Agreement (to be submitted with application).
• Up-to-date CV.
• 2 years of references/work history.
