Business Support Assistant – Admin & Clerical
Location: County Hall, Usk, Monmouthshire, NP15 1GA (Hybrid: Initial Office-Based Training, Then Hybrid)
Employment Type: Temporary (38 Weeks)
Start Date: 25 June 2025
Hours: 29.5 hours per week (4 days, 09:00 – 17:00 with 30-minute break)
Pay: PAYE £13.69/hour | Umbrella £17.41/hour
Are you a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment? Network Recruitment Wales is seeking a dedicated Business Support Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Children’s Services team in Monmouthshire for a temporary 38-week assignment starting 25 June 2025, covering a secondment.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting, including handling queries from the public and meeting tight deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service to members of the public and colleagues.
- Support the team with data entry, record-keeping, and other clerical duties.
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit team to ensure smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, varied role and work effectively as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude and confidence in managing multiple tasks.
- Must live within an easy commute of Usk, NP15 1GA, and be available to start immediately or with no more than one week’s notice.
