Your Role

As a Principal Rail Engineer, you’ll lead and deliver cutting-edge civil engineering solutions across all project phasesβ€”from feasibility studies to detailed design. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the highest technical standards.

What You Bring

βœ”οΈ Qualifications – Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng); Chartered Engineer (CEng or equivalent) preferred.
βœ”οΈ Experience – At least 5 years of civil engineering design experience, with a focus on rail infrastructure, and CRE experience.
βœ”οΈ Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of structural analysis, geotechnical principles, and rail-specific design. Experience with software like Autodesk Robot, Idea Statika, or Tedds is a plus.
βœ”οΈ Leadership Skills – Ability to inspire, mentor, and drive teams toward excellence.
βœ”οΈ Problem-Solving Mindset – Analytical thinker with a passion for overcoming engineering challenges.
βœ”οΈ Communication Skills – Ability to present technical concepts clearly to various audiences.
