*** 1-2-1 and small group support for GCSE English students.

Requirements:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
• A passion for the English field and a drive to instil this into young people.
• Commitment to the wellbeing and safeguarding of students.
• Dedication to the education of students aged 11-16.
• Previous experience of working with students, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.

 
The Role

• Assisting teaching staff in all daily tasks such as planning and delivering English GCSE lessons and providing feedback and support.
• Creating support strategies for under-achieving students to accommodate individual learning needs.
• Adapting learning materials to suit the different abilities of students.
• Building positive relationships with students and staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Partaking in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and parents’ evenings.
