Our client, a multi-disciplinary design consultancy with over 40 years of expertise, is expanding its team of over 50 staff and is seeking an experienced Senior Marine Engineer.

They specialise in structural engineering design across various sectors, including marine, commercial, residential, and education projects. Located on the beautiful south coast, they work on exciting new builds and refurbishments, such as marina structures, multi-storey residential developments, stadiums, and schools.

About You

• Chartered Engineer status or nearing chartership
• A degree (BEng/MEng) in Civil Engineering with a strong academic record
• Proven experience in marine structural engineering design and familiarity with FEA software
• Demonstrable experience designing with various materials, including steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry to Eurocode standards
• Strong CAD skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Revit
• Previous experience managing design projects, whilst keeping within set timescale, and meeting quality expectations.
• Experience or willingness to lead a team and mentor junior engineers
• Able to prepare monthly reports and fee forecasts
• Excellent team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
