Business Support Assistant
Location: Usk (Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days home after training)
Contract: 10th March 2025 – 1st June 2025 (potential extension to April 2026)
Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £13.02 p/h

What You’ll Do:
- Manage correspondence, records, and databases (including PLANT) with precision and professionalism.
- Handle admin tasks—minute-taking, bookings, file audits—to keep teams running smoothly.
- Support financial processes, from petty cash to invoice management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a first point of contact, handling safeguarding calls and building trusted relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Train and assist staff on systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to service improvements through data validation and reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
- Skills: Strong IT and data manipulation skills, excellent communication, and a knack for organisation.
- Qualities: Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting a team that makes a difference.
- Experience: Comfort with admin, customer-facing tasks, and a basic understanding of business support’s value.
- Bonus Points: Familiarity with databases (e.g., PLANT), local government experience, or HR/finance admin skills.
