Delphi Developer – Epos Systems Development - £58k/£60k p.a. + car allowance - Hybrid Working (West Midlands Office)
 
Join an existing internal Software Development team responsible for enhancing, developing and supporting retail applications and software to meet business requirements. 
 
To apply you should have the following skills and experience:

• Borland Delphi (Version 5 onwards) is mandatory and critical to secure this role
• Have a minimum of 5 years commercial experience in System Development
• Have experience of developing EPoS systems / solutions
• Professional exposure / experience of the following technologies
  • SQL - Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle – Stored Procedures, Function, Views etc.
  • .NET & C# within Visual Studio using WinForms
• Have excellent personal organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks
• Previous experience of using team collaboration software e.g. TFS, Git, Dev Ops etc. would be nice
• Be able to produce technical software documentation to a high standard

 
Highly desirable skills and experience:

• Experience of Web Development using .NET Core
• Understanding of using the MVC development model
• Experience of writing SSIS packages
• Understanding & experience of File Transfer management such as SFTP, JSON, CSV etc
• Test driven development methods

 
*You will be required to be on site during the working week – flex days*
