Job Description
Pertemps Stoke are recruiting for an FLT Driver to join our client’s busy site in Cheadle, Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual looking for ongoing work.
Main Duties of this FLT Driver role:
- Safely operate an TLT to carry out unloading, loading, and putaway of goods
- Perform 100% checking of all parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support the team
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Valid FLT Licence (essential)
- Conversion to TLT is available
- Previous experience operating FLTs in a warehouse or industrial environment
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy when checking parts
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and overtime
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in an outdoor environment, regardless of weather conditions
- A proactive and reliable attitude with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Hourly rate: £12.93 per hour
- Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities
- Support for career development with TLT conversion available if needed
- Hours of work: 07:30 – 16:30, with weekend working and overtime required
- Location: Cheadle, Staffordshire Moorlands
