Due to the continued success of the team we are now looking to grow our teams headcount – we are now seeking a motivated and analytical Account Manager to join our team.

Overview

As an Account Manager with Pertemps, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape and grow our clients’ workforce while delivering exceptional customer service to our candidates. You will source candidates exclusively for specific clients within our client base, building strong relationships with candidates actively searching for work and passive candidates who when presented with a new opportunity are interested in learning more.
You will be an instrumental part of our teams growth and success in 2025 - If you’re a personable self-starter with a passion for people, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with our candidates understanding their career ambitions and goals.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to understand their hiring needs and inform them of our bespoke recruitment solutions.
  • Thoroughly screen candidates to ensure their skills and experience aligns with client needs.
  • Engage with employers and hiring managers to obtain candidate references.
  • Meet and exceed candidate engagement targets to contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Represent Pertemps at industry events and networking opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or a similar role customer facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.
  • Negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the recruitment industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office.

  • A competitive base salary of £28,000 per annum.
