Temporary Damp and Mould Surveyor

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading social housing provider across Cornwall on a temporary basis within the Property Services department.

The position as a Damp and Mould Surveyor is on a 6 month contract, with a possibility of this being extended. The role would primarily involve working within a team to diagnose any causes of damp and to come up with appropriate recommendations to resolve these issues.

Further responsibilities would include:

• To undertake the relevant surveys to diagnose the causes of damp within the properties
• Coming up with suitable suggestions to improve this
• To liaise with tenants to ensure that they are made aware of progress

The ideal person for this role would have previous experience in undertaking building surveys, hold HNC Qualifications in a related discipline, and be familiar with identifying damp and mould in properties. Knowledge of EPCs is also advantageous.
