Firewall Engineer (DV Cleared)
Location: Gosport, Newport, Blackpool, York, or Glasgow (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

The Role:As a Firewall Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing firewall solutions to support secure and resilient network infrastructures. You will work closely with our defence and aerospace clients, ensuring that all firewall configurations and operations align with industry standards and security protocols.
This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days a week in the office. You can be based out of any of our locations: Gosport, Newport, Blackpool, York, or Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and configure firewalls using Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Checkpoint.
- Provide technical expertise and solutions to support secure network environments.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to enhance infrastructure.
- Work within cloud environments to ensure security and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and firewall issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure security protocols and standards are maintained across all systems.
Requirements:- Active DV Clearance is a must.
- Strong background working with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Checkpoint).
- Experience working with network systems in both on-prem and cloud environments.
- Relevant certification such as NSE4 or FCP is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
