Senior Project Manager Are you a dynamic and strategic Project Manager looking to make an impact in a fast-paced consultancy environment?
Our client, a specialist boutique technology consultancy, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee key implementation and transformation projects spanning EPM (Oracle Financials) and CRM (Salesforce / Creatio).
About the Role This is a newly created role that will see you work alongside the Consultant teams to manage overall project delivery.
Currently, Principal Consultants oversee project management responsibilities, but with continued growth, there is a need for a dedicated project leader to own the full delivery lifecycle.
You will get the chance to test your skills across projects ranging in size and complexity. Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Leading project delivery across multiple engagements, ensuring timely and successful outcomes
- Managing project plans and budgets
- Providing clear customer updates and managing stakeholder expectations
- Understanding business value beyond just implementing systems – identifying the problem, the benefits, and the long-term impact
- Identifying opportunities for business growth and further engagements with clients
Who We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will be an experienced and passionate Project Manager with a strong background in project delivery and leadership. You will be a confident communicator who can ‘talk the talk’ when it comes to EPM and/or CRM solutions, without needing to be hands-on technical. Key attributes include:
- Proven experience leading successful technology/enterprise application projects
- Strong understanding of the full end-to-end project delivery lifecycle
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, build strong relationships and manage expectations
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and other methodologies (you will need to be flexible in your approach)
- Commercial acumen – ability to spot growth opportunities and deliver high client satisfaction
This client is open to candidates from different backgrounds. You may be working in Professional Services/Consultancy, have worked as a Consultant in the past and moved into project leadership. You will focus on project oversight rather than hands-on technical work but will still have a strong BA-style skillset with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Or you could be working in a Project or Delivery Leadership role in an End-User environment, managing large-scale projects delivered by third-party consultancies
