  2. Candidate sourcing and management:
    • Identify, source, and screen potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and referrals.
    • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and suitability for specific roles.
    • Maintain an active and up-to-date candidate database.
    • Provide career advice and guidance to candidates, helping them to achieve their professional goals.
  3. Recruitment process management:
    • Manage the entire recruitment process, from the initial job brief to offer and acceptance stages.
    • Negotiate salary packages and contracts between clients and candidates.
    • Ensure all necessary compliance checks and paperwork are completed before placement.
    • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill and candidate satisfaction.
  4. Business development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector.
    • Develop and implement strategies to grow the client base and increase market share.
    • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote Hourglass and expand professional networks.
Qualifications and experience:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the education sector and understanding of school staffing requirements.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
What we offer:

  • Competitive salary based on skills and experience.
  • Attractive commission structure with additional performance-based bonuses and incentives.
  • 25 days annual leave plus your birthday off. Holiday entitlement increases with length of service.
  • Monthly competitions and bi-annual away days/holidays
