Family Support Worker

Pertemps Social Care is recruiting for Family Support Workers to join a safeguarding team in Redbridge.
 
You will be required to assist the Families Together Team to deliver outreach and support services to referred families, ensuring an efficient and cost-effective service.
Work within the Families Together Team and alongside partner agencies within Children and Families to plan interventions that will improve outcomes for children and young people.
Work directly with parents and children to deliver the interventions, offering advice, support and guidance and promoting positive parenting.
 
You will have an NVQ level 3, relevant to working with children and families, along with experience in working with service users at risk of statutory intervention as part of a multi agency team.
 
Principal responsibilities in the role will involve:

• Support the most vulnerable and challenging children, young people and their families
• Implementing, monitoring and reviewing family support intervention plans
• Contributing to high quality assessments to secure the best outcomes for children and young people
• Working alongside social workers
