£39.38 per hour (umbrella)
South-East London
35 hours p/w, minimum 3 month contract

About the role:
To support the Professional Educator to manage the implementation of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) in Health and Adult Services.
To mentor Social Work Degree Apprentices, providing support, guidance, and links with the HEI.
To support and assess several NQSWs in collaboration with Line Managers.
To assist and direct Managers and Supervisors in assessing the development and progress of NQSWs towards the required Professional Capability Framework and KSS and SWE standards. To facilitate Practice Development workshops
To contribute to the identification of needs across the service against the Knowledge and Skills Statement for Social Workers in adult services and to support the Professional Educator to deliver a range of innovative individual and group training and professional development opportunities to meet those needs.
To contribute to a comprehensive quality assurance framework across the services by undertaking a range of auditing activity (including direct observations), analysing, and distributing findings to develop best practice and a learning culture in Royal Greenwich Health and Adults services.
To contribute to moderation processes (both internal and external) in line with national recommendations
To provide practice education support and guidance to social workers supporting students on placement.
To support and contribute to Teaching Partnership work streams relevant to role.
To support the Professional Educator and Principal Social Worker to audit and quality assure the implementation and the consistency of casework and the ASYE Process across Health and Adults Services.
To review audit social care practice and to recommend improvements to meet best practice standards.
To work with colleagues in Children’s SW Practice Academy in relation to quality and procedure to ensure consistency of approach and quality of outcomes of the Joint ASYE programme Implementation. To promote continuous professional development by providing mentoring, coaching, and facilitating group supervision/ casework reflection sessions and develop creative ways to deliver learning.
To deliver a comprehensive induction alongside managers and supervisors for NQSWs and provide individual and/or group reflective supervisions
 
What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Practice Educator Qualification
• Registered with Social Work England
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
