Job Description
You will be responsible for maintaining caseloads, conducting assessments, creating and implementing care plans, and providing support to children in care. The role involves regular interactions with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the welfare and development of children. Administrative tasks such as record maintenance, report writing, and compliance with regulatory requirements are also involved.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, creating care plans, and case management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with children, families, and other professionals
- Ability to maintain accurate records, report writing, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and providing support to looked after children
- A degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Experience in a related field or prior experience with children and families in challenging circumstances is beneficial
