Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team and take ownership of revenue generation across the UK.
The Role This is a leadership role for a commercially astute and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You’ll be responsible for managing and developing a UK-wide team of Territory Managers, driving sales performance, and executing strategic growth initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate the UK sales team to exceed sales and revenue targets
- Implement structured training and coaching programs to enhance team performance
- Track KPIs, conduct daily activity reviews, and hold team members accountable
- Collaborate with valuations and marketing teams to drive inventory acquisition and buyer engagement
- Manage high-value negotiations and key client relationships
- Deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior leadership
- Support auction preparation, including stock decisions and pricing strategy
- Ensure consistent CRM usage and sales pipeline visibility across the team
- Drive new business development, customer retention, and territory growth strategies
What We’re Looking For- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a successful sales team
- Strong background in heavy equipment, construction machinery, commercial vehicles, or related sectors
- Proven ability to set targets, develop talent, and deliver strong sales results
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- A "hunter" mindset with the resilience and drive to seek out and win new business
- High level of self-motivation, organisation, and commercial acumen
- Confident using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Must be based within 1 hour of Goole and willing to travel as required
