Purpose of Job
Provide administrative support to the FGC Service and Lifelong Links Project and the FGC Manager timely and confidential distribution of documents and minutes, maintaining the service the database, invoicing, booking venues and interpreters.
Be responsible for the day to day running of a comprehensive, administrative function within the service.
Main duties and responsibilities- To accurately type correspondence, confidential documents and reports using a range of Microsoft Office. Typing speed of 50wpm.
- To deal with written and telephone enquiries from professionals and other agencies, including message taking on behalf of Links Project Lead and FGC manager and coordinators.
- To assist with the maintenance and development of efficient and effective business support systems including management information systems, filing systems, accurate and timely data returns, and implementation of improvements and additions required in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
- Undertake the completion of finance transactions, including the creation of requisitions, invoices, purchase orders, including supplier set-up and queries for the department.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Lifelong Links Project and FGC service. This will include provide administration support to meetings, including collating documents, uploading documents into the database, booking venues and interpreters, distributing minutes and reports, supporting the referral process.
Requirements
- Previous Admin experience
- Experience of recording minutes at complex meetings
- Experience of collecting and recording statistical data
- The ability to type accurately to a minimum of 50 wpm
- Experience working in a housing association or council is required to be considered for this position
Contract
- Initial 3 to 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend
- PAYE via Umbrella
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (OFFICE BASED)
