My client is recruiting for a Assessment and Move on Worker based within the local Authority in North London and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
- To be responsible to the management team for day to day delivery of the service and to work with clients around their immediate support needs
- To carry out comprehensive client assessment and draw up the effective action and safety plans with clients
- To provide advice to client on their re connection and accommodation options
- To keep abreast of current housing legislation's
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in using IT
- A good understanding of relevant legislation's housing act 1996 , mental health act 19983, care act 2014 and experience of safeguarding
- Understanding of and commitment to diversity and equality
- Experience of working with people experience homelessness and whorking with them to achieve good outcomes.
Contract
- Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend
- PAYE via Umbrella
- Monday to Friday
- 9am to 5pm
As the role is Local Authority based candidates will be asked to complete an onboarding & compliance checks including DBS & Online training modules prior to starting.
