Job Description
As a Senior or Specialist Social Worker, you will provide support, counseling, and guidance to clients, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes. Your experience and expertise in court-related cases will be vital in navigating legal processes and advocating for clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals involved in court cases.
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling to clients involved in court proceedings.
- Collaborate with legal professionals, probation officers, and other stakeholders to ensure cases progress smoothly.
- Advocate for clients' best interests in court, providing necessary documentation and testimonials.
- Conduct home visits and interviews to gather relevant information and assess the safety and suitability of living environments.
- Develop and facilitate group therapy sessions to address areas such as substance abuse, trauma, and anger management.
- Assist individuals in accessing community resources and support services.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
- A valid license as a Social Worker in the state.
- Proven experience working with individuals involved in court cases.
- Knowledge of court processes and legal procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in social work.
Contract
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £37 umbrella rate
