Job Description
- Manage all referrals for the provision of aids and adaptations for council tenants with disabilities.
- Provide specialist advice regarding the suitability of Council properties for proposed adaptations.
- Collate information for senior management to make informed decisions for approval of major adaptations.
- Refer tenants to Tenancy Sustainment Team to discuss possible moving to a more suitable property.
- Carry out assessments of potential void properties, in partnership with Housing and OT to assess and give guidance to the viability for adaptations.
- Prepare specifications of work to itemise minor and small-scale major adaptation works (such as wetrooms, ramped access, door widening, wheelchair accessible kitchens etc.)
- Initial 3-to-6-month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend
- PAYE via Umbrella
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (4 days based onsite and 1 day working from home)
