The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Development Surveyor to lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality asset development, disposals, and valuation services. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial property portfolio and driving strategic asset management initiatives.

The Role
As the Principal Development Surveyor, you will:

• Lead and manage a team of surveyors, driving performance, innovation, and compliance.
• Oversee the review and rationalization of the commercial portfolio, identifying opportunities to enhance capital and revenue income.
• Manage complex negotiations, asset valuations, and property disposals from inception to completion.
• Provide expert advice and reports to senior stakeholders, contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Support the development and implementation of asset management systems and ensure all properties are safe and compliant.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:

• MRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status.
• Significant experience in asset valuation, development, and disposal, with a strong understanding of related laws and commercial negotiations.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams and delivering complex property projects.
• Strong analytical and financial planning abilities, with experience in managing budgets and contracts.
