Location: Orpington, UK
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum

Role Purpose: Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing company in the passive fire protection sector? We are seeking a commercially astute and motivated individual to manage and control all financial and technical aspects of projects helping to minimise costs and maximise value across our operations.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Full commercial control from inception to final account
- Measurement, pricing, and evaluation of tenders
- CVR reporting and forecasting
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
- Identifying areas for margin improvement
- Supporting invoicing and payment processes
- Ensuring Health & Safety compliance
- Building and maintaining supplier and subcontractor relationships
What We’re Looking For:
- Relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent)
- Experience in passive fire protection preferred but not essential
- Strong commercial acumen with a solid background in procurement and cost management
- Experience working with bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and design & build contracts
- Proficiency in Excel and other commercial tools
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong communication and time management skills
