Location: West London
Rate: £550 per day (umbrella)
Contract: Initial 3-month contract, with opportunity to extend
Hybrid Working: 3 days per week in the office
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Delivery to lead the project management and delivery function within our Housing Service. This is a key leadership role driving service improvement, transformation, and evidence-based change to enhance tenant satisfaction and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Head of Practice for project management and delivery, promoting and modelling best practice across the service.
- Lead service improvement initiatives and ensure tenant satisfaction is central to all change and performance activity.
- Support and influence strategy development, ensuring strategic plans are effectively translated into service delivery.
- Work closely with the Assistant Director for Housing Improvement & Governance to ensure a coordinated approach to the 10-year housing plan.
- Embed agile project and programme delivery, forming multidisciplinary teams that bring together business, systems, data, finance, and improvement functions.
- Manage senior-level stakeholders effectively, building buy-in and alignment across the organisation.
- Utilise performance management frameworks and tools to track delivery against business objectives.
- Proven experience leading project and programme delivery at a senior level, ideally within housing or local government.
- Strong background in service improvement, transformation, and agile delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven and collaborative approach.
- Competitive daily rate: £550 per day (umbrella)
