multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in the heart of
Central London, seeking a
Principal or Senior Civil Engineer with
5+ years’ experience in
drainage, highways, and road design.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a
growing civils team (currently 8 people), within a supportive
London office of 19, and a wider business of around 60 professionals. You’ll work across a diverse project portfolio – including
industrial, commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, and leisure developments – while playing a key role in project delivery and team leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing- Leading and mentoring a team of engineers from apprentice to experienced levels
- Client liaison for project delivery and developing new opportunities
- Designing drainage, roads, earthworks, and infrastructure across a variety of sectors
- Producing drawings from concept through to construction stage
- Preparing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, Service Reports, and SuDS designs
- Working on technical approvals for Section 104, 38, 278 and other relevant consents
- Carrying out site audits, feasibility studies, and swept path assessments
What You’ll Need- A degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- At least 5 years’ experience in UK civil engineering consultancy work
- Strong report writing skills – e.g. Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements
- Experience with AutoCAD and drainage design software such as Micro Drainage
- Familiarity with Auto Track for swept path analysis
- Working knowledge of ground modelling software for road and earthworks design
