Salary Package:

• £35,000 - £45,000
• Hybrid Working

The Role
 
We are looking for an experienced Passive Fire Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for passive fire protection projects, an eye for detail, and excellent communication skills. You will play a critical role in pricing projects accurately and ensuring our solutions align with industry regulations and client expectations.
 
Responsibilities
 

• Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for passive fire protection works.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to gather relevant project information.
• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and pricing schedules.
• Identify materials, labor, and equipment costs required for each project.
• Ensure all estimates comply with current fire safety regulations and industry standards.
• Assist in the preparation of technical submissions and proposals.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs.
• Support the sales and project management teams with technical expertise.

 
Requirements

• Proven experience as an estimator within the passive fire protection industry.
• Strong understanding of fire stopping, fire doors, intumescent coatings, and compartmentation.
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite.
