Transport Administrator
Location: Feltham, London - Location isn't accessible by public transport
Salary: £28,000 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pertemps are currently looking for a
Transport Administrator to join our clients team in Feltham. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and looking to work in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our transport services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the transport team, ensuring efficient operations.
- Coordinate Driver schedules and maintain accurate records of routes and deliveries.
- Manage communications with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle customer inquiries related to transport and deliveries.
- Process transport-related paperwork, including delivery notes, invoices, and timesheets.
- Assist in tracking fleet movements and ensuring all records are up-to-date.
- Prepare reports and assist with data entry for transport and logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other administrative tools.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
