Recruitment specialist Pertemps Network Group has appointed Steve Mogano as its new Group Finance Director.
Steve has worked for the Warwickshire-based business, which has a £1 billion turnover, since 2004, most recently in the role of Finance Director of the Pertemps Limited arm of the company.
“I am proud and delighted to have been given this opportunity,” he said.
“There are many challenges ahead. The current market we are in is candidate driven and that gives us unique challenges for the business. Looking at that and seeing how we move forward effectively will be an important part of the role next year.
“It is a great time for the business, with other colleagues also having recently moved into new roles, and I am genuinely excited about what lies ahead.
“To me, this business has always been about family. That is why I have stayed so long, and many other people have done the same. It is an exciting place – and I am saying that as an accountant!
“We have so many talented people here and I am sure we will continue to grow and lead the industry.”
Steve began his career as an accountant in Birmingham in the 1980s after gaining a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. He qualified as a chartered accountant and, after a brief spell working in Toronto, Canada, came back to the UK to work for KPMG.
Earlier this year, Pertemps, which has its headquarters in Meriden, near Coventry, celebrated 60 years in business.
