Accounts Payable Assistant

Sheridan Maine is delighted to assist our client, an established organisation based in central Bristol, with their search for a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant. 
 
Working within a fast-paced team, your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Assistant will include:

• Processing invoices and expense claims efficiently and accurately.
• Posting invoices, direct debits, chasing missing invoices/credits and payments.
• Contributing to process and procedure improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve payment queries.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
• Generating reports to identify risks and reallocation of costs as required.
• General finance and administration duties.

 
What you will need to be considered for the position of Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable position or similar financial role.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• An aptitude for general IT, and specifically Excel.
