Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Mon - Thurs 16:00pm - 02:00am
Pay: From £13 p/hr
Contract: Temp - Perm

A local manufacturing company based in Kidderminster are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. To set and operate a CNC Press Brake, for the production of components to company drawings and works instructions. Duties include the accurate measurement, inspection & identification of finished components.

The Duties of a Press Brake Operator:

To set & operate a Press brake, including tool changing & material loading.
Review work orders, drawings & instructions
Accurately fold & form components
The measurement, inspection & identification of finished components.
The logging & data entry of production operations onto the company FMS platform.
Work to production order of priorities, efficiently & within the production time constraints
Maintain a clean working area, clear access to safety controls & pedestrian walkways.
The safe offloading, transfer & storage of material.
Maintaining quality control for all operations
Conduct regular scheduled in-house maintenance & machine safety checks.

The Requirements of a Press Brake Operator:

Wearing the specific PPE & safety equipment required for the operations.
Willingness to continuously learn & be trained in the company's operations.
FLT counterbalance certification desirable.
Reporting any equipment, quality, safety & operational concerns to the Team Leader.
Following all Health & Safety Procedures.
Any other reasonable duties as required by Management
Frequent & repetitive bending, stretching, lifting & the ability to stand for long periods of time.
