Role Overview
- Position: Early Years Educator
- Location: Lambeth
- Start Date: Immediate
- Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications)
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a relevant degree (Essential)
- Have experience working with children in an Early Years setting
- Be knowledgeable about the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Be able to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills, working closely with teachers and support staff
- Be passionate about child development and committed to inclusive education
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Support children in developing their language, social, and motor skills
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel encouraged to explore and learn
- Observe and assess children's progress, contributing to learning journals and reports
- Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure each child receives tailored support
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being in young learners
