dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in
Year 1 with
Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in
helping young learners thrive, providing tailored support to ensure they reach their full potential. The school is committed to

Role Overview:
- Position: Year 1 SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Lambeth
- Start Date: Easter
- Salary: £105 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Who We’re Looking For:
- Have experience working with children with SEN, particularly in Early Years or KS1
- Be confident in supporting students with communication difficulties, sensory needs, and behaviour management
- Be patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with young learners
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, including teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
- Have a proactive and creative approach to engaging children in learning
Your Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with additional needs
- Assist in implementing tailored learning strategies to support student progress
- Help create a structured and engaging classroom environment
- Support students in developing social skills, confidence, and independence
- Work closely with teachers and specialists to deliver inclusive and accessible lessons
