Adults Senior Social Worker – Derbyshire
Locality Team
Rate: up to £36 per hour
We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
This is a qualified social worker role requiring you to be SWE registered and to have relevant experience in adults services.
MAIN PURPOSE:
- To promote and maintain independence for vulnerable adults in line with the wellbeing principles set out in the Care Act 2014 and the Health and Social Care Act 2022.
- To support carers to continue in their role
- To protect adults at risk by robust assessments and the use of safeguarding procedures with an emphasis on making safeguarding personal.
- To assess the needs of Adults and their Carers in line with LB Bromley procedures based on the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation
- With the Adult and Carer, formulate and implement personal budgets and support plans Monitor, review and evaluate support plans including direct payments in order to ensure that they are consistent with eligible need.
- Provide supervision, support and advice to other team members and deputise for the Team Leader.
