***Supporting children in an ‘Outstanding’ primary school across all areas of the syllabus to help improve literacy and numeracy skills.
 
The Graduate:

• At least a bachelor's degree in education, or a related subject.
• Enthusiasm for the education of young learners.
• Good reading, writing, and basic numeracy skills.
• Dedication to the development and progress of KS1 or KS1 pupils.
• Commitment to following safeguarding procedures.
• Previous experience of working with children, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.

 
The Role
As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will…

• Assist teaching staff in the coordination of learning materials and resources and helping to adapt lessons to correlate with each individual student’s needs.
• Monitor pupil progress to ensure that any additional learning needs can be identified.
• Formulate plans to improve student attainment.
• Build strong bonds with both pupils and staff to create a positive learning environment.
